ABOUT ME
I was born in France and have been living in Canada for most of my life. I was born in an eclectic family with an interesting mix of Italian Jewish, Corsican, Provençal and Northern French on my mother’s side, and a Roma father from Southern France whom I never met. I tend to credit my DNA for my innate connection to the mystical realm!
I have been connected to the “reality beyond” since childhood, when faerie folk (for lack of a better term) used to come and entertain me as I was drifting into sleep when I was two years old, or when I learned to talk to the wind at around age five. I was also the kind of kid who loves babies and animals, and I have always felt a deep desire to nurture others and allay suffering in any way I can.
Even though I had many privileges growing up, the main one being the fact that my mother was mostly absent for the first seven years of my life, things became much more difficult when we moved to Montreal and my sister and I found ourselves alone with my mother and step-father. I like to use the image of a clear cut forest to explain the following seven years – but the second growth has come in very nicely and I am quite attached to the new features in my inner landscape.
Some of the advantages that had a huge impact on me are: Access to a great education; the multifaceted cultural influences of my family – amazing food, art, literature and music; the unconditional love of my grandfather, my nanny and my cat familiar who never left my side for the first seven years of my life; the magical summers I spent in Provence surrounded by lavender fields, the chant of cicadas, and the magic of fireflies at night; the yearly trips to Spain learning to swim in the Mediterranean and experiencing the magic of Benidorm before it became a touristic trap; the winter holiday trips to Wengen in Switzerland with my grand-parents where we always stayed in the same hotel, the Alpenrose. All these and more have contributed to the richness of my inner world and contributed to my resilience and ability to break the chain of abuse in my own life. This has also put me in a good position to help others surmount the ordeals they encounter in their life and transmute trauma into strength.
The less positive aspects of my family life inspired me to strike out on my own at the age of 15 and I was lucky to meet many people willing to take me in and share their knowledge with me. I was introduced to such modalities as the I Ching, Tantra, the Tarot, Astrology, and Gnosticism from the very beginning of my solo adventures, and had the luck to be living in Montreal at the height of a very creative scene that later gave birth to the Cirque du Soleil (among many other amazing projects!) I was thus able to build my sense of self through these formative years as a free agent roaming the world pretty fearlessly and always ready for new adventures. I spent most of my time between the ages of 15 to 19 being quite nomadic doing art, music, and dance as well as exploring spiritual and esoteric modalities. I then gave birth to my son and my free-roaming days shifted into a more structured format. Of course, it was the beginning of a new adventure that I wholeheartedly embraced and that led to me to be the woman I am today.
As I moved through life and matured along with my son, other modalities came to me organically as I sought to heal my own trauma and grow inwardly. I discovered the healing power of herbs thanks to my midwives. I once dropped into a conversation a friend was having at my favourite hangout and met the woman who would change my life and ultimately teach me Applied Meditation. When I traveled to Australia in 2000, a Reiki teacher saw the potential in me and attuned me from zero to teacher in one go; or when my guides – who have been channeling through me for many years – once told me I should look into acquiring tuning forks especially designed for the human body (I had no idea those existed!) and I discovered the wonders of these sound healing tools to add to my toning and chanting.
Over the years, I have also studied the Kabbalah, spent a few years as an Osho sannyasin where I discovered the benefits of meditation. I then grew into becoming a solo pagan/wicca priestess and learned the ways of rituals and ceremonies. I hope this glimpse into my biography can bring some texture to the tapestry that make up my offering; each strand of which, as mentioned on the homepage, opens a door into the same space. Because ultimately, it is not the modality itslef that really matters., but the place it takes you to. It is always a privilege to collaborate with the people who resonate with my services as I help them move into that most sacred space of their inner self to manifest their full embodiment.
May all beings be happy and free, and may my thoughts, words, and actions contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom for all. May peace prevail.
